Signs to watch for
- Spending more than you planned, or chasing losses.
- Hiding gambling activity from family, friends, or partners.
- Borrowing money or selling possessions to keep betting.
- Restlessness or irritability when you try to cut back.
- Gambling affecting work, relationships, sleep, or mental health.
Self-exclusion and limits
Most state regulators and licensed sportsbooks offer self-exclusion programs and deposit / time / wager limits. Use them. The state directory above lists how to enroll in your jurisdiction. If you need to step away from sports content entirely, you can contact us and we'll cancel your subscription and remove your account on request.
Budgeting reminders
- Only risk money you can afford to lose. Treat it like the cost of entertainment.
- Set a daily / weekly limit before you start, and stop when you hit it.
- Don't chase losses. Don't borrow to bet.
- Take breaks. Sleep on it before increasing stake size.
